​​​​​​​How do I uninstall the Device Management Agent?

A​​​​nswer:

The BitTitan Device Management Agent (DMA) can be uninstalled from the customer’s Computers page within MSPComplete.

To uninstall DMA:

  1. From the menu sidebar, click All Customers.
  2. Click the customer name for which you wish to uninstall DMA.
  3. From the horizontal menu bar, click Computers.
  4. Select the computer from which you wish to uninstall DMA.

    Note: Computers with an active agent have a checkmark (checkmark.png) icon under the Agent Status column.
  5. Click Uninstall Device Management.
  6. At the prompt, click Yes, uninstall the Agent to confirm the uninstall.

    Note: The status for that computer updates to “Uninstalling" and the agent will uninstall at the next heartbeat check, which is configured to occur hourly by default. Once the agent is uninstalled from the computer, the status for the computer updates to “Uninstalled.”​ If this fails, you must manually uninstall it, using the instructions in KB005852​.
