How do I set up a document migration project for SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online migrations?

Answer:

To create a new Sharepoint Online to SharePoint Online document migration project, do the following:
  1. Log in to your MSPComplete account by going to https://www.bittitan.com and clicking on the red Account button. Provide credentials, if requested.
  2. If you haven't already, create a new Customer for the project you are creating. For information on creating a new Customer, see the MSPComplete User Guide.
  3. Select All Customers on the left navigation bar, then select the customer for whom you wish to create the migration project.
  4. If you haven't already, create an endpoint for both the Source and Destination connections for your migration. In this case, although the migration is from SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online, there is a presumption that you're moving from one domain to another. In that case, each SharePoint Online domain will be a separate endpoint. For more information about creating endpoints, see MSPComplete User Guide.
    1. Select the customer for whom you wish to create an endpoint.
    2. On the top navigation row, select Endpoints.
    3. Click on the Add Endpoint button.
    4. In the flyout form, enter the endpoint name, then select an endpoint type (in this case, SharePoint Online).
    5. Enter the SharePoint Online URL, then an administrator name and password, then click on Add Endpoint.

Note:  It is highly recommended that you use the global admin account or another administrator account that isn’t one of the users being migrated. Otherwise it can cause issues with missing shared permissions.
  5. At the top of the left navigation, click on the All Products waffle, then select Document Migration.
  6. Once on the project page, click on Create Project, then click on Create a Document Project.
  7. Enter a name for the project, select a customer from the Search for a Customer drop-down, then select Next Step.
  8. Add Source and Destination endpoints to the project.
Your project is now created. You can set your Advanced Options, if necessary, add your libraries, and execute the migration.
For detailed, step-by-step instructions on executing the migration, see the SharePoint to SharePoint Migration Guide.
